Paddy’s football ambassador Phil Thompson has teamed up with our top trader Jason Murphy to bring you a belting goal-scorer treble for Sunday’s final round of Premier League games. The lads put up an anytime scorer tip for Aston Villa v Chelsea, Leicester v Tottenham and Liverpool v Crystal Palace. So, let’s get into it.

Thommo

I think the teams who are trying to get into this Champions League, you look at the players who have been very influential, I’m going to go for Mason Mount and Kelechi Iheanacho, rather than Jamie Vardy. I know Vardy takes the penalties but Iheanacho is on fire. You’ve also got to go for Mo Salah to Score for Liverpool.

I can’t put anyone off Mason Mount. I know he got a bit of slagging as the teacher’s pet under Frank Lampard but the fact Frank Lampard is gone means he’s getting the appreciation and respect that he deserves. If England do anything at the Euros is will be partly down to how well he performs.

In terms of Iheanacho, it’s amazing, he’s running pretty hot. If you look at the xG he’s got a couple more goals than your average striker, based on the chances that he’s had. Vardy, on the reverse of that, should have five goals more than he has. He’s just been missing some of the chances that he’s been taking in other seasons.

You’re right to go with Iheanacho there in terms of the goal scorer market. In terms of Mo Salah, he’s up against Harry Kane. He’s outperformed the xG. Mo Salah will want to win the golden boot and he always seems a little bit greedy to me, especially if they go one or two nil up. Definitely backing the three of them to score this weekend is a very, very good play.

Sunday goalscorer treble

Mason Mount, Kelechi Iheanacho and Mo Salah all to score on Sunday.
