For Monday’s football Acca we’ll be having a gander at the promotion push in the Bundesliga II where two big names in German football are fighting it out for a return to the big time. We also have Fulham vs Burnley on the cards in England.

The home side are currently on 27 points, six points from safety with three games following this one to go. Burnley are on 36 points and should they lose here they’ve going to be in for a tough run-in. Finally to Spain where Betis and Granada are in a battle to secure the final European place in La Liga.

5pm: Holstein Kiel vs Hannover: Holstein Kiel to Win

Holstein Kiel beat St Pauli on Friday evening and, with a game in hand over Greuther Furth above them in second place, the home side will be confident of taking the final automatic promotion place and return to the Bundesliga. They have a healthy four point lead over Hamburg below them meaning they’re favourites to at least secure the Bundesliga Playoff place.

They’re in decent form with three wins, one draw and one loss over their last five league games and at home they’ve won all five of their most recent fixtures at the Holstein-Stadion. Hannover have lost four of their last five, winning the other one and their away form has seen them winning one, drawing one and losing three. Holstein should Win to keep their push for promotion on track.

7.30pm: Hamburg vs Nuremburg: BTTS No Draw

At the time of writing, Hamburg occupy fourth place in the league on 52 points. A win here would put them in contention to catch Holstein Kiel ahead of them in the Bundesliga Playoff place. They’re not exactly in good form though, they’ve won none of their last five league matches, drawing three and losing two of them. On the bright side, regarding betting anyway, both teams to score landed in all five and Over 2.5 goals in three of them.

Monday 7.30pm: Hamburg v Nuremburg
BT Sport 1

At home, they’ve won one, drawing three and losing one. Overs only landed in one and BTTS in three. Nuremburg are in better form, they’ve won three of their last five, drawing the other two. Away from home, they’ve won two, drawing two and losing one with Overs landing in two and BTTS in three. With Nuremburg having the momentum and Hamburg desperately needing the three points here, we should see a winner and with good BTTS stats the best way to go here is BTTS No Draw.

8pm: Fulham vs Burnley: Halftime Draw

Fulham don’t have much hope of Premier League survival. They could survive with a couple of wins under their belts but they’d need to see one of the teams above them falter. It’s a big ask but it might even come down to the final day when Fulham face Newcastle at home. They need to win this match though and it has to be emphasised that the Cottagers are in awful form, as their position would suggest, winning none of their last five, drawing one and losing four. At home they’ve won one and lost four.

Burnley have won one of their last five, losing the other four. Their away form is slightly better with two wins and three losses. Fulham have only been winning at Halftime in 12% of their home Premier League matches while Burnley have been in the lead at Half Time in 18% of their away Premier League matches. Four of Fulham’s five most previous home matches have also been level after 45 and Burnley’s last four on the road have seen two being level at the break. We should see a tense start here, we’re backing the HT Draw.

8pm: Betis vs Granada: Both Teams to Score

At the time of writing, Betis occupy seventh position in La Liga with 51 points with Granada in ninth on 45. Granda’s place in the table will probably change before kickoff on Monday night but Betis will remain. There’s six points between the teams and Betis are really stumbling towards European football next season. They’ve drawn all six of their most recent La Liga matches. At home, they’ve won three and drawn two of their last five.

Granada have won three and lost two of their last five but their away form has seen them winning two and losing three. The home side are odds on here but that record of six league draws in a row is putting us off giving them the nod. They’ve got a decent home goal scoring record of 1.71, Granada have been averaging 1.12 on their La Liga travels and BTTS has landed in all nine of their most recent away form. Both Teams to Score is the way to go here.
