For Friday night’s football we have a feisty four-fold Acca brimming with value. We’ll be taking a look at the Bundesliga match between Stuttgart and Augsburg where another loss for Augsburg is going to see them flirting with the relegation zone.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Leicester vs Newcastle is also on the menu where the home side need just a few more points to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Lens play Lille at the same time and the away side are currently just a point ahead of PSG at the top of the table. Finally, Real Sociedad face Elche who will be desperate for the win for their La Liga survival. Let’s have a look at what we’ve picked.

7.30pm: Stuttgart vs Augsburg: Stuttgart to Win

Neither side is in the best of shape here, both are winless over their last four Bundesliga matches but Stuttgart have a bit more credit in the bank when it comes to points. Augsburg are currently on 33 points, four points above the relegation zone at the time of writing.

BT Sport 3

Stuttgart’s home form is decent though, they’ve won three of their last five, losing two. Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 goals have been seen in three of them. Augsburg’s away form is muck though, they’ve lost seven of their last eight and only scored one goal over their last five on their travels. Stuttgart’s home form should see them take all the points here.

8pm: Leicester vs Newcastle: Leicester to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Leicester’s overall Premier League form isn’t quite as good as it probably should be. The Foxes have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five. At the King Power things are a bit better where they’ve won three and lost two. Over 2.5 goals was seen in four of those games.

Interestingly, of their last five home wins, four saw Overs landing.

Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Newcastle’s form has seen them win two, draw two and lose one, their away form has seen them win just one of their last five on the road, drawing two and losing two. Overs occurred in three of those games.

Leicester absolutely walloped them 5-0 last season and in their two games since at St James’ Park they also won, by 0-3 and 1-2. Both teams need the win for very different reasons and we should see goals with those Overs trends mentioned above. Leicester to Win and Over 2.5 Goals holds some nice value here.

Brendan Rodgers

8pm: Lens vs Lille: Lille to Win & Both Teams to Score

Lens are in a dogfight with Marseille and Rennes for the final European place in Ligue 1. The home side have won two of their last five, drawing two and losing one. At home, things are better with three wins and two draws over their last five. Both Teams to Score landed in all, Over 2.5 goals in four of them.

Everyone, except PSG fans of course, wants Lille to land the title and they’re in mighty form, winning four of their last five in the league, drawing the other. Away from home they’ve won 10 of their last 11 league matches, drawing the other.

BT Sport 2

Lille have a good record of clean sheets with three over their last five but this Lens side have netted 11 over their last five at home and chasing European football will make it a tough ask for the visitors.

However, their away record is nothing short of superb and momentum should see them edging closer to their first league title in 10 seasons. Lille to Win and Both Teams to Score is screaming value at us.

8pm: Real Sociedad vs Elche: Sociedad to Win

Elche have won none of their last 15 away matches and it’s hard to see them taking the points here. Sociedad aren’t in great shape at first look, they’ve only won two of their last five, drawing one and losing two.

LaLigaTV and FreeSports

Those two losses were to Barcelona and Sevilla though so we shouldn’t be so harsh. If we remove those games they’ve actually won four of their last five and against an Elche side who have only scored three goals over their last five away matches we can’t see anything but a home win here.
