18:00 West Brom v Wolves: Conor Gallagher To Be Booked

This is a Black Country derby, but even that doesn’t add much appeal for the neutral. Wolves had a real low point of their season losing 4-0 to Burnley last time out, and they look completely rudderless without their talismanic striker Raul Jimenez – who has been absent all season. Added to that, Willian José – the striker they signed in January to fill in for him – just hasn’t been an adequate replacement.

I’d lean to West Brom in term of match betting, but not by much. That’s why I’d prefer to bet on Baggies’ midfielder Conor Gallagher to be booked. That’s mainly because he’s one of the most carded players in the league with nine to his name so far this season.

This is a derby as well and West Brom have to win to have any chance of staying up, so I can see this being a feisty affair. It’s not hard to imagine Gallagher, an all-action midfielder who likes a tackle and even a late one occasionally, ending up in the referee’s notebook here.

20:15 Burnley v West Ham: Over 2.5 Goals

If I said to you at the start of the season that Burnley v West Ham could be one of the most entertaining games of a Premier League weekend, you probably would’ve laughed at me. But, I reckon we can expect a good game here.

In their last five matches Burnley have shared 19 goals with their opponents – that’s nearly four goals a game. That’s partly down to The Clarets pressing higher up the pitch. Also, it seems that their manager Sean Dyche, with little fear of relegation, has been more willing to take a more attacking approach. That has worked out for the Clarets as they’ve nabbed wins of Wolves and Everton recently.

For West Ham, it’s unfortunate that lost their star striker Michail Antonio when they did, as they haven’t been as good without him. Their chances of making the Champions League spots are slimmer now than a few weeks ago, but to keep alive that hope, they have got to win this game.

That should lend itself to a very open game and Over 2.5 Goals looks a very decent bet in this game.
