Just two games to go for most of our EFL sides now and there’s still plenty up for grabs. The Championship is pretty much all sorted at the top while there’s a lot to play for at the bottom. It’s the last chance saloon for two teams at the bottom of League One while Hull can effectively, at least, wrap up the title with a win.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

In League Two it’s all about the playoff picture and the title with two already gone at the bottom. So, with plenty to be sorted out this weekend, here’s four picks for your Saturday acca.

Wycombe v Bournemouth – Bournemouth Win and Over 2.5 Goals

24th-placed Wycombe are effectively done and dusted in The Championship with a six point deficit and a 13-goal difference to make up with two to play. They’ve been decent recently but it took them far too long to adapt to life in the second tier.

Bournemouth are 4th and will be eyeing a 3rd or 4th placed finish and home advantage in the second leg of the playoffs. They’ve been in incredible form but did lose last time to Brentford in a potential playoff final dry run.

We have to be with Bournemouth in this game and there’s some value in adding Over 2.5 Goals into the mix. Overs has landed in seven of The Cherries’ last nine games and all five of The Chairboys’ last five games. Bournemouth to Win and Over 2.5 Goals kicks off our Saturday acca.

Hull v Wigan – Hull to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Hull have already secured promotion but the job is only half done with the title still on the line. They have a three point gap to Peterborough in second and a better goal difference to the tune of seven over The Posh. A win here would pretty much wrap up the league bar a good old ‘mathematical miracle’ on the final weekend.

Wigan have also had a season to celebrate but for very different reasons. After their, let’s say, unfortunate relegation last season I had them going down by around Easter, such was the turnover in the playing staff. However, they’re on the brink of staying up with a four-point cushion to the relegation places.

Wigan have been in sensational form but it’s hard to look past The Tigers in this one. Again, to add some value I’m bolting on Over 2.5 Goals to a Hull Win in this one. Overs has landed in Hull’s last six on the bounce and in three of The Latics’ last five.

Shrewsbury v Oxford – Oxford to Win

A classic on the beach vs all to play for clash here. Shrewsbury are probably going to finish around 10 points clear of the drop zone and sit in 17th heading into this game. But for Oxford this is must win with a playoff place in sight. They’re one of the form teams in the league and are 7th, just a point behind Portsmouth in 6th with two to play.

Their form has been incredible and they’ve won four of the last five to supercharge their playoff push. Shrewsbury, on the other hand, have lost four of their last five so on form we have to back the Oxford Win here.

Colchester v Salford – Salford to Win

It’s a similar story here with Salford occupying the final playoff place in League Two and Colchester realistically safe in 21st. Salford are hitting their stride after what was looking to be a disappointing season. They’ve picked up three wins on the bounce and will surely be targeting this game as a fourth. Colchester have won two of their last five, but those two wins are their only victories in 13.

Salford are red hot and the only teams they’ve dropped points to in the last seven are Tranmere (5th) and Bolton (3rd). Their tails are up and should be too good for Colchester so I’ll round off my four picks this weekend with a Salford victory.
