Manchester United welcome Roma to Old Trafford on Thursday night for the first leg of their Europa League semi final. The Red Devils are favourites to lift the trophy at the end of May in Gdansk and face a Roma side who are winless in any of their last four matches but, to get to this stage of the competition, have put out Ajax and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Edison Cavani to Score Anytime
We’ve been huge fans of Bruno Fernandes in the Europa League and have recommended him in many of our United Europa League previews, the Portuguese midfielder has barely let us down as well. However, he only has one goal over his last 10 matches in a red shirt and both Edison Cavani and Mason Greenwood are the form players.
Cavani though has a thing for Roma, in his Serie A days with both Palermo and Napoli he scored a whopping nine goals over 12 appearances. He also has three over his last four matches for United and loves a big occasions. We’re going with Cavani to Score Anytime and make his mark here.

Over United’s five most recent matches they’ve only scored a total of two first half goals. It’s even worse when looking at their record at Old Trafford where they’ve scored just one first half goal over their six most recent matches there.
