NEW TO PADDY POWER?
Wednesday 8pm: Paris St-Germain v Manchester City
This is a tie that throws up issues off the pitch but in terms of a pure football match I think this is the tie that every football fan is looking forward to. I think PSG look far too big a price here. I think PSG are a good price to win the match.
In simple terms, I think any football fan can understand that City do not have a forward player who is close to the level of Kylian Mbappe or Neymar. We’ve seen Phil Foden starting to emerge, but would you fully rely on him in these big games? I’m not so sure.

He’s still unproven even though Foden is a superb talent. It is concerning that Raheem Sterling’s been kind of in and out of the team, there have been reports of him falling out with Pep Guardiola. I think, unlike most of the Premier League teams City play, PSG have the ability to play through their pressing game.
Marco Verratti is a superbly gifted player in midfield for PSG and also Leandro Paredes is a gifted passer. I think PSG are a level above that City have faced. You look at the two teams’ routes to the semi finals, PSG have come through the far harder side of the draw, beating a good Barcelona team and getting past Bayern Munich.
City beat Borussia Monchengladbach fairly comfortably but weren’t that convincing in getting past a Borussia Dortmund team. So, I think, all told, PSG look a solid bet To Qualify here.
If you’re looking for a goal scorer bet you can’t look past Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime. Look at his goal-scoring record. If he can get PSG to their first Champions League I think he’s in pole position for his first Ballon d’Or.
