Man United To Win

It really is a terrible shame given the rivalry between these two sides, that the fans will not be in attendance at Elland Road for this game. But, the home faithful will be very happy with what Marcelo Bielsa’s side have produced on the pitch this season, as relegation has never looked in doubt after their promotion to the Premier League. A top 10 finish is even a possibility for the Whites, depending on how they end the season.

Initially, I felt the price on Manchester United to beat Leeds in this one was a tad short. However, after some more research I feel the price is justified. United have never had a proper rest throughout the whole season, but they’ve had seven days to recuperate ahead of this derby. And if there’s one team you want to be fresh against, it’s Leeds United.

You can take a good steer from what happened tactically between these two when they met at Old Trafford in December. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set United up to exploit the space Leeds leave in midfield and The Whites never got to grips with it.

When take United’s added freshness into account, you have to back them to pick up an away victory at Elland Road.

Dan James To Score Anytime

I’m going to tip up Dan James to score here for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Man United have to play Roma the following Thursday evening in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final and Ole may be tempted to rotate a little heading into this game.

Secondly, James may not be in the regular Red Devils XV, but he’s seen a lot more football recently. He has started eight of the last 14 games for Solskjaer men. He’s also delivered when he has started matches, scoring twice for United in those eight starts.

He also netted for Wales during the most recent international break.

So, I’m going with James to hit the net anytime in this one as he tends to see out the 90 minutes when he does start games.
