I think Jose Mourinho leaving has hurt Spurs’ chances and the market is reflecting that. If you look at Mourinho’s record in finals, he’s won 12 of 15 finals that he’s been in. That’s phenomenal.

He’s done it with teams who aren’t used to winning as well like Spurs are heading into this game. Porto, what he did there was incredible, Inter Milan were the underdogs against Bayern Munich in that final, even United when he was there, with the likes of Marcus Rashford not used to success, he won the Europa League and League Cup with them.

So, Mourinho in a cup final week, he knows how to approach it, even if he has become toxic he would have had Spurs in a better position than what I believe Ryan Mason will. If you’re looking for a match bet Man City are, as always, probably a bit too short.

If you wanted to bump it up though, with them having an eye on Paris St-Germain in the Champions League, maybe they won’t be fully gung-ho for the 90 mins, Man City and Under 3.5 Goals is around Evens. That covers you if Man City go 2-0 up and take their foot off the gas, it also covers you if you think Spurs can score a goal as well.

I saw Harry Kane go over on that ankle, they’re like glass, aren’t they? But I do think, knowing Harry Kane, he will want to play and he’ll strap his ankles just to make sure he plays.

He has that charisma, that ‘I’m the main man at Spurs’ attitude. I do think he’ll play and I’ve got Harry Kane to Score Anytime. I’m also going 3-1 to Manchester City.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Defensively Spurs are nowhere near as solid as they should be and you look at them in midweek against Southampton, a header from Danny Ings, who’s not normally the biggest aerial threat, from a corner kick.

I just think Man City will have far too much and I’m going for them to win 3-1. And, as my learned friend Jason told us about Ilkay Gundogan, I’m going for him to Score Anytime because he will take the penalties, maybe even a couple of free-kicks as well.
