With this game in hand against Napoli, Torino are currently three points above the relegation zone. A badly-needed win here would lift them from 16th up to 13th. They’re in decent enough form too, having lost just one of their last five in the league – winning two and drawing two.
At home they’ been the same with two wins, two draws and a loss. Napoli have a very strong record on recent visits to the Stadio Olimpico, triumphing in four of their last five there and drawing the other.
Napoli are looking strong of late, they put five past Lazio on last Thursday and have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five league matches. Over their last five away games they’ve won three, drawing one and losing one.
The three wins though were against Roma, Milan and Sampdoria and combined with their recent overall form they should have more than enough to take all three points here.
Lazio had been on a pretty impressive run of late, but were very much humbled in their 5-2 defeat at Napoli on Thursday night. They face another tough test here against a Milan outfit desperate for a win to close the gap on Serie A leaders Inter. Both teams are in pretty good form, Lazio have won four of their last five, losing the other. Meanwhile, Milan have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five matches.
Honors have been even between the sides over recent encounters in all competitions, both have won one with three ended level – Milan winning one more on penalties. Lazio’s home efforts has seen them winning all nine of their most recent home Serie A games, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in six.
Milan on their travels have won three of their last five, drawing and losing one. Over 2.5 Goals was seen in four those ties. With Milan chasing Inter and Lazio trying to get back into the Champions League places both will have to go all out here.
Leicester have been impressive in their two recent wins over Southampton and West Brom and will be eager to bag the three points here in their quest for a return to the Champions League next season.
Palace are tough to beat on the road though, they’ve won two and drawn one of their last five on their travels. Over recent encounters at the King Power Stadium things have been pretty even with Leicester winning three and Palace winning two, while Over 2.5 Goals was seen in four of those five matches.
Leicester’s record of clean sheets looks good, keeping three over their last five matches in all competitions, but keeping West Brom and Sheffield United scoreless isn’t really much to boast about.
Palace though have scored in four of their last five away in the Premier League and have been averaging 1.13 goals per away matches. Leicester though have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United at home recently and should come out on top.
The last time Eibar won a La Liga match was 16 games ago, they’re bottom of the league and while they can still escape relegation their form suggests the opposite. Sociedad are the best of the teams chasing Europa League for next season, although there are just too much of a points gap between them and Seville in fourth for them to catch up at this late stage in the season.
Eibar have been defeated three of their last five at home, drawing the other two. Sociedad’s form on their travels isn’t the best though it must be said, they’ve won just one, drawing three and lost one – keeping just one clean sheet over those five matches and scoring in four of them. Eibar have scored in three of their last four at home and with Sociedad’s leaky defence we should see both getting on the scoresheet here.
