17:00 Cagliari v Roma: Jordan Veretout To Score Anytime

There is no doubting it’s been a disappointing season for the men from the Italian capital. Roma sit a whopping 10 points off the Champions League places in Serie A and trail Napoli in the final Europa League spot by eight points. But with Atalanta and Juventus set to battle it out in the Coppa Italia final, sixth place should open up for the final Italian spot in the Europa League and that’s attainable for Roma with their city rivals Lazio currently just three points ahead of them.

It means the Champions League eggs are in the Europa League basket for Paulo Fonseca’s men this season, and they square off against Manchester United in the semi-finals on Thursday. However they’ve they got the small matter of a trip to Sardinia to negotiate first, in what has generally been a fiery affair lately.

An interesting stat for this is one is that a penalty has been awarded in five of the last 10 games between Cagliari and Roma, so that has us fancying a former Aston Villa flop to find the net.

Jordan Veretout only managed 25 appearances for Villa before heading to the exit door, but he’s found a home in Rome. The Frenchman has scored an impressive 10 times in Serie A this season, with five of those coming from the penalty spot. He’s also grabbed one from 12 yards in the Europa League this term, so he’s got a decent shot of netting anytime here.

18:30: Rangers v St Johnstone: Kemar Roofe To Score Anytime

Believe it or not, despite Rangers’ utter dominance in the Scottish Premiership, there’s a bit of needle coming into this Scottish Cup quarter-final. These two sides played each other in the league on Wednesday and it was a rare occasion where The Gers dropped points, as Liam Craig banged home a 95th penalty to level matters at 1-1.

Steven Gerrard won’t have liked that, and his men get an immediate chance to put that blot on their copybook right at Ibrox today. After wrapping up the Premiership title last month and exiting the Europa League, this competition is now priority number one for Rangers as they hunt for a domestic double to end a brilliant season.

We’re tipping up Kemar Roofe to hit the onion sack here as the former Leeds United frontman looks to add to his 14 goals in all competitions this season.

Roofe has already scored twice in this competition, hitting a brace against Cove Rangers in the Third Round and he should have plenty of chances to bring up our bet.

20:00 Athletic Bilbao v Atlético Madrid: Angel Correa To Score Anytime

Diego Simeone’s men have been looking over their shoulders all season at Real Madrid and Barcelona behind them, but they’ve still been able to keep them in the rear-view mirror. With Real dropping points to Real Betis yesterday, this is a perfect opportunity for Atlético to pull away as they take on the 10th-placed Basque side.

You may have been expecting Luis Suarez’s name to be on top of this paragraph and with 19 La Liga goals in the bag this term it would have been if we were sure of his fitness, but alas, the Uruguayan is a doubt for the game. That means attention turns to a fellow South American in the shape of Argentina’s Angel Correa, as Atlético Madrid look to strengthen their grip on first place in La Liga.

With only seven league strikes in the books, you would be right to ask why we’re going with Correa and the answer is quite simple: he’s been red hot of late.

Correa has taken over the striker’s role in Suarez’s absence and he’s netted three times in the last two games for Los Colchoneros against Eibar and Huesca. Don’t be surprised if he repeats that trick tonight.

20:00 Lyon v Lille: Memphis Depay To Score Anytime

We finish up with an absolute blockbuster in Ligue 1, as fourth-place Lyon welcome Lille – who sit second in the table – to the Groupama Stadium. Lille have a great record against their opponents recently, going in unbeaten in their last nine matches against Lyon. Christophe Galtier’s side can also go back top of Ligue 1 with victory, but Memphis Depay and Co have title ambitions of their own.

A win for the home side would see them go level in the table with Lille and sit just two points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain. We’re taking Depay to find the net here as the Dutch superstar is having another spectacular campaign.

BT Sport 2

Depay has scored 18 league goals this season and has been in flying form since the dawn of 2021, as he’s been involved in 15 goals for Lyon since January – netting 10 and assisting five of them. Be warned, he could well be on the scoresheet at the end of the night.

18:30: Rangers v St Johnstone: Kemar Roofe To Score Anytime
