18:00: West Brom v Southampton – BTTS

Monday 18:00: West Brom v Southampton
Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League

The fight against relegation continues in the Premier League on Monday with West Brom entertaining Southampton in the early match from 6pm. The Baggies secured a confidence boosting victory at Chelsea last weekend thanks to the sending-off of Thiago Silva, with the Saints coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Burnley. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have only managed two clean sheets in their last nine-away matches in the league, while the Baggies have conceded nine goals at home from their previous 12.

Both teams will be pushing for victory and if there’s any hope left for Sam Allardyce’s record to remain in the Premier League, this match is a must win encounter for West Brom. The Saints have scored in their last three visits to the Hawthorns with both teams scoring in the last two games between these sides in the West Midlands. Having scored twice against Chelsea, Matheus Pereira will be a key man for the home side, while Southampton talisman Danny Ings will be as popular as ever to score the opening goal.

19:30: Hoffenheim v Bayer Leverkusen – BTTS

Monday 19:30: Hoffenheim v Bayer Leverkusen
BT Sport 1

Hoffenheim are by no means safe from relegation and need to produce a result against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Monday evening. The home side has conceded at least two goals in six of their last nine league matches and will be encouraged to see Bayer only scoring two goals in their last three league matches on the road. Both teams have scored in five of the previous six league matches between these sides since January 2018. Lucas Alario is the main man for Bayer and don’t worry if they don’t score early – most of their away goals scored this season has come after the 60-minute mark.

19:45: Benevento v Sassuolo – BTTS

Monday 19:45: Benevento v Sassuolo
Premier Sports 1

Benevento are another team playing on Monday evening who are not safe from relegation this season as they entertain Sassuolo in Serie A. Flippo Inzaghi’s side will keep on pushing for safety and can secure a result against Sassuolo having recently managed to secure four-points in their last two league matches. A 1-0 victory away to Juventus was followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Parma with Denis Mann scoring the equaliser after 88-minutes for the visitors.

Sassuolo manager Roberto De Zerbi will be looking for a turn in form having only managed one victory across their last seven Serie A matches. Hamed Traore has been in good recent goal scoring form for the visitors, who have managed to score and concede in eight of their last nine away matches. Artur Ionita and Adolfo Gaich are the key players to watch for the hosts and it’s hard to see both teams not scoring here in Italy this Monday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti

20:15: Brighton v Everton – BTTS

Monday 20:15: Brighton v Everton
Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League

Everton have the games in hand to push for a Champions League place next season, but really need to secure victory at Brighton on Monday night to remain in the hunt against Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham and Tottenham. Carlo Ancelotti’s side were in an excellent position following wins against Liverpool, Southampton and West Brom before defeats to Chelsea and Burnley over the past month. A point at home to Crystal Palace will surely have disappointed supporters of the Toffees and they’ll expect nothing more than a win at the AMEX.

However, it won’t be easy for the visitors as Brighton play nice football but need a change of luck following narrow defeats to Leicester, West Brom and Manchester United. Everton have netted in 10 of their previous six-matches on the road and scored at the AMEX in two of their previous three visits to Brighton. With so much on the line for both sides at either end of the table, I’d be hopeful of a good encounter which could end in a score draw.
