Wednesday 19:45 – England v Poland
ITV 1/Virgin Media 2
Its amazing how one player can make a team click, but that is the case with Robert Lewandowski and Poland here. He will be a huge loss to Poland on Wednesday night. He managed to grab another two goals last weekend.
He’s a proper goalscorer. It will still be a test for England after their two wins against inferior opposition lately.
Things are looking quite good for this England team at the minute. Gareth Southgate has an abundance of talent to work with currently.
All that being said, I think Poland will score on Wednesday night. I’m going to go with both teams to score here. I reckon the Polish side will be slightly demoralised by the fact that Robert Lewandowski is missing. That will have an impact on how they approach the game.
I’m going to flag up a 3-1 scoreline here also. I think England will just have too much for them on the night.
I’d like to think Harry Kane will fill his boots on Wednesday. After Dominic Calvert-Lewin got two against San Marino, it could be the Spurs mans turn on Wednesday and I fancy him to grab a brace here against Poland.
I’m going to include England in a treble for Wednesday night. I also fancy France to beat Bosnia. They have the makings of a very good team in my opinion. They are playing away but should get the job done. Denmark are away against Austria.
I know Austria can play well at home, but the absence of fans will be a bonus to Denmark. It’s not that long ago when Denmark beat England 1-0 at Wembley. They are a very good team. Those three teams in a treble, can return a nice dividend on Wednesday night.
