Football Tips: Phil Thompson’s 4/1 treble for Saturday’s Premier League games

Here's who Thommo fancies this Saturday.

Leeds v Chelsea – Chelsea to Win

This is a big chance for Chelsea to take advantage of Leeds, who are out of form at the moment. We’ve all loved watching Leeds this season, they’re fantastic to watch but it’s not doing them any favours right now. They’ve lost five of their last seven Premier League games, keeping just two clean sheets in 11 games.

Saturday 12:30: Leeds v Chelsea
BT Sport 1

If Chelsea are at it and they are at the moment under Thomas Tuchel, it’ll be a hard game for Leeds. Chelsea have kept nine clean sheets in 11 games under their new boss and they don’t struggle to score either! They are also strong at set-pieces and that’s Leeds’ major weak point so Tuchel will be having a big look at that. I’m going for a Chelsea victory here.

Everton v Burnley – Everton to Win

I fancy Everton to beat Sean Dyche’s Burnley here.

Saturday 17:30: Everton v Burnley
Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League

If Everton get the win it’ll keep them too far away from Liverpool and I don’t think the Reds will be able to catch them!

Fulham v Man City – Man City to Win

Fulham played well at Liverpool, particularly in the first half at Anfield. They took advantage of a very high line and Man City do the exact same thing. If Fulham can exploit that, they can scare Man City.

Saturday 20:00: Fulham v Man City
BT Sport 1

City, meanwhile, bounced back against Southampton after losing the Manchester derby. They smashed five past them but they conceded another two goals – four in two games! Despite their leaky defence at the moment, I think City will still get the job done.

Thommo’s Saturday treble:

Chelsea to Win
Everton to Win
Man City to Win
