Spurs have been smashing in the goals of late with Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Gareth Bale all hitting form at the same time. It had been looking like Bale had all but given up on football but if any manager was going to get the best out of him then Mourinho has certainly worked his magic on the Welsh man of late. Over 3.5 goals has landed in four out of Spur’s last six matches and in four out of their last six at home as well.
Zagreb’s away matches tend to be fairly high-scoring affairs as well. Over 3.5 goals has occurred in four out of their last six on their travels in all competitions and in the Europa League two out of their last three fixtures have also seen Overs landing. Both teams are obviously full of goals at the moment, we should be in for a bit of a goalfest here. Our first pick is Over 3.5 goals.

Spurs have had some problems at home this season, while their record of seven wins from 14 isn’t bad when you take a closer look they’ve been guilty of not showing up on a couple of big occasions, like when Liverpool and Chelsea came visiting. Regardless, their Europa League form has been outstanding. They’ve been winning at halftime in four out of their five home matches in the competition so far this season.
Zagreb are a good side, no doubt about it, they’ve beaten Feyenoord and Krasnador on their European travels this season but coming up against a Spurs side who are in such form it’s hard to see them not losing here. Add to this the fact that Spurs have scored nine first-half goals over their home Europa League matches so far as well as 15 over their 14 home Premier League matches and we’re getting very good odds here on Spurs to be winning at HT and FT.
Gareth Bale to Score Anytime
You could really choose any of Spurs’ inform attacking players here; Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min or Gareth Bale but we’re going with Bale here. Harry Kane is especially likely to get his name on the scoresheet; he has 16 over his 25 Premier League games as well as six in six in the Europa League.
Bale though is getting the nod simply because he’s played some great football over his last few appearances in a Spurs shirt. He has six goals in his last six matches for the home side and has three over his last four in the Europa League. The higher odds are really sweetening the deal here so we’re going with Wales’ captain to add to his Europa League tally.
