18:00 Chelsea v Everton: Chelsea to win

Everton seem to be breaking records all around them at the moment! They are unbeaten in the last nine away Premier League games, don’t you know? They also have Richarlison hunting a fifth goal on the trot.

But, they are coming up against a rejuvenated Chelsea side under new boss Thomas Tuchel. They are undefeated in the ten games they’ve played since the German took over and they’ve kept an impressive eight clean sheets in those 10 matches. That’s phenomenal, and they’ve only conceded two goals in that period.

As we saw against Liverpool on Thursday – even though The Reds had a lot of the ball – Andreas Christensen was outstanding and Antonio Rüdiger seems to have found himself again, now that he’s back in the side. This team now seem to be made of sterner stuff, because before Tuchel came in they’d lost five of the previous eight games.

An important stat to note is, in the four home games Chelsea have had since Tuchel took charge, they’ve kept their opposition blank in all of them. That tells you that they are very strong at Stamford Bridge and he’s going with a 3-4-3 formation that turns into five at the back when The Blues are defending. All that makes me want to go for a Chelsea win in this one.

20:00 West Ham v Leeds: West Ham to win

I do believe that this should be a really good game, but that may play into West Ham’s hands. Leeds don’t know any other way of playing other than to attack. West Ham, on the other hand, are very happy to sit back, take a lot of pressure and hit on the counter – even at the London Stadium. It helps having no fans in the stadium for them to pull that game plan off.

Leeds will be happy to take up that challenge though! They’ll go at The Hammers and they’ll have plenty of possession in this one, but it does say something that The Whites only have two clean sheets in 10 Premier League games. They don’t really draw either, so they really do like to have a cut at teams.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have lost four of their last six league matches, but I don’t see them changing to go with a defensive side to change that. Their last defeat against Aston Villa at Elland Road is one they’ll be really disappointed about too.

But, West Ham have this way of playing that can hurt Leeds and a good game from Michail Antonio is vital for them. I reckon The Hammers can win here to bring in my double.
