West Brom v Everton: Everton to Win & Over 1.5 Goals
The 6pm games in the Premier League on Thursday see two teams fighting against relegation entertaining sides who are battling to secure European football for next season. West Brom will be boosted by a combination of hard work and having lady luck on their side in a controversial 1-0 win against Brighton last weekend. Everton head to the Hawthorns after a hard-fought victory against Southampton on Monday at Goodison Park and are hoping to secure a third straight win.
A win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side would put further pressure on both Liverpool and Chelsea with those two sides playing later in the evening at Anfield. The incentive is there for the Toffees who are right in the hunt for a Champions League spot, while a defeat to the Baggies might seal their faith this season. It’s a quick turnaround from the Saints game for Everton, but they can secure victory and put one over their old manager Sam Allardyce in the process.

West Brom have not managed a home league victory against Everton in over eight years, while Ancelotti is unbeaten in his four personal head-to-head clashes against Big Sam. The visitors have won three of their last four away matches at the Baggies, with over 1.5 goals scored in five of the previous six fixtures at this venue. The Toffees have netted over 1.5 goals in their last four league games on the road with West Brom conceding at least two goals in four of the previous six at home.
Richarlison is obviously the man to watch for Everton having scored in his last three matches against Manchester City, Liverpool and Southampton. Despite somehow managing a clean sheet last weekend, West Brom have conceded 17 goals at home in their previous six matches. An early goal for the visitors could see the flood gates open with the Toffees managing to win their last ten away fixtures in the league when scoring the opening goal.

Fulham v Tottenham: Spurs to Win & Over 1.5 Goals
The other early Premier League match sees Tottenham travel across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage. Scott Parker’s side have gone unbeaten in five league matches and this recent turnaround in form has to given them a chance of avoiding relegation. You might recall our Paddy already paid out on Fulham to be relegated back in September, which was our second earliest relegation pay-out of all time – will Paddy have egg on his face at the end of the season?
The home side are currently three points behind Brighton and Newcastle and deserve plenty of credit having been ten points away from safety at one point earlier this season. Fulham have only netted four goals in their last six-matches and despite back to back clean-sheets, it’s hard to see them keeping out the likes of Kane, Son or Bale. It’s a massive game for both sides, with Spurs really needing to push closer to Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton for a top-five finish this season.

Following defeat at West Ham, Jose Mourinho will surely be delighted with back to back clean-sheets in 4-0 victories against Wolfsberger and Burnley. Spurs have scored 13-goals away from home in their last six-matches with seven of those netted in the second half. The real problem for the visitors all season has been defensively, but following those recent clean-sheets, combined with Fulham’s lack of clinical finishing, it’s hard to see beyond a Spurs victory.
Five of the previous six-matches on the road for Tottenham has seen over 1.5 goals landed with a total of 11 from 12 since the middle of December. Spurs ran out 2-1 winners when last visiting Craven Cottage in January 2019 and a similar outcome can be expected this time around. There has been plenty of goals between these sides in the past, with the visitors winning the last five away fixtures and remaining unbeaten at Fulham since 2011.
