6pm: St Etienne v Lens – Both Teams To Score

The Geoffroy-Guichard stadium plays host to one of the early fixtures on a busy night of football across Europe on Wednesday. This French Ligue 1 clash is a massive game for St Etienne, who are just above the relegation zone with one win, four draws and a defeat in their last six home matches. Claude Puel’s side could do with a victory, but Lens will be tough opposition with Frank Haise’s team pushing for a top-five place this season.

Wednesday 6pm: St Etienne v Lens
BT Sport ESPN

St Etienne has conceded in nine of their previous 11-matches, while none of Lens’ away league games this season has ended goalless – the visitors have managed to score in nine of their last 11 league matches on the road. It continues to be wonderful season for promoted side, who have picked up more points (40) at this stage of a Ligue 1 season than all but three promoted clubs in history. Both teams can score with Puel winning seven of his last nine personal head to head matches against Lens.

7.45pm: AC Milan v Udinese – Both Teams To Score

Udinese have a good history of scoring and getting a result away at AC Milan and hopefully that continues in the second-leg of our Both Teams To Score four-fold on Wednesday. The visitors have managed to score in their last five league matches away to Milan since 2016, with two draws, one victory and two defeats – both teams scored in four of those five-games. Luca Gotti’s side are likely to finish towards mid-table this season and travel to Milan having lost just one of their previous six-matches.

Wednesday 7.45pm: AC Milan v Udinese
Premier Sports 2

Milan come into this match following a 2-1 victory against Rome in the Italian capital and a win tonight would put them just one point behind bitter rivals Inter, who play on Thursday. Milan have conceded in eight of the previous 12 home matches in all competitions and this should be an entertaining affair. Seven of Udinese’s last nine away matches has witnessed both teams scoring and despite an AC Milan victory looking likely on current form, the visitors can score again at the San Siro tonight.

7.45pm: Genoa v Sampdoria – Both Teams To Score

I’m staying in Italy for our next match between bitter rivals Genoa and Sampdoria in a local derby at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Genoa are currently four points behind Sampdoria in the league table with Davide Balardini’s side watching over their shoulder with fear of being pushed into a troublesome relegation battle. Both sides are scoring and conceded goals lately with Genoa unbeaten at home in six-matches since defeat to Juventus in mid-December.

Wednesday 7.45pm: Genoa v Sampdoria
LiveScore App

Sampdoria have not managed a clean-sheet at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium since a Coppa Italia victory against Salernitana last October, with both teams scoring in nine of those 12-matches at this venue. Recent form can certainly go out the window when these sides meet, and it has been positive to see both teams score in the last three encounters between these Ligurian rivals. It should be a spicy affair with the likes of Keita Balde and Mattia Destro the likely first and anytime scorers in this one.

8pm: Barcelona v Sevilla – Both Teams To Score

Sevilla travel to Barcelona with a two-goal advantage in this Copa del Rey semi-final with Julen Lopetegui’s side hoping advance to the final and lift the trophy for the first time in over a decade. The two sides know each other extremely well after Barcelona ran out 2-0 league winners in Seville just last weekend. Ronald Koeman’s side are hoping to turn this tie around and a make a record 42nd Copa del Rey final appearance.

Wednesday 8pm: Barcelona v Sevilla
Premier Sports 1

Barca have strangely conceded ten goals at home this year and their recent 3-0 victory against Elche was their first home clean-sheet since the middle of December – a remarkable run of eight home matches were both teams scored. Sevilla has an excellent goalscoring record away to Barca in recent years having netted in four of their previous five-visits. The visitors have scored in 11 of 12 recent away matches and with Barca conceding first in six of their last eight Copa del Rey fixtures, an away goal looks likely.
