Brighton to Win and Over 2.5 Goals
The bet I fancy in this one is Brighton to Win and Over 2.5 Goals. The reason for this is that West Brom can’t afford to sit back for the full 90 minutes and play for another draw. They’ve had a draw in their last two home games.
They celebrated the draw against Manchester United which was a good result for them. But, in terms of their position in the table, they needs wins.
Saturday 3pm: West Brom v Brighton
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
They’ve conceded 55 goals this season. That’s 2.2 goals per game. If you look at the top five European leagues that’s the worst defence of any team at the moment.
I just think Brighton, we know about their finishing issues, but they have to start worrying that they’re not taking their chances at this stage. But, against West Brom, with their defensive record, and knowing that they have to come out and play at some stage, Brighton to Win with Over 2.5 Goals is a good angle for this game.
Pascal Gross to Score First
The tip I’m going to give up is a bigger price, so we’re staying away from those Brighton forwards who don’t take their chances. We’re going to tip up Pascal Gross to Score First. A big reason for this is that we’re with the penalty angle as well.
Brighton should dominate possession which means West Brom are camped in their box and that creates more of a chance for a Brighton penalty. He’s taken two penalties this season and converted both of them.
He didn’t take Brighton’s last penalty because he wasn’t on the pitch. Neal Maupay took it who has missed penalties this season. Gross should start the game, I think he’s started seven of the last eight in the league and he should be on penalties and free kicks. At the price on offer Pascal Gross to Score First is worth a look.
