7.45pm: Blackburn v Preston – 1-1 Draw & Armstrong Anytime

Blackburn Rovers welcome Preston North End to Ewood Park on Friday for a Lancashire derby in the EFL Championship. Both sides are in need of three points to boost their slim chances of making the playoffs.

The hosts sit eighth in the league while Preston lie 12th in the table. The two teams come into this clash on the back of defeats last time out. Blackburn were on the wrong end of a 1-0 defeat away to QPR while Rotherham United picked up a 2-1 victory over Preston on their own turf.

The last three times these sides met have ended with a win for each and a draw in-between. The last time these sides met it was a heavy defeat for Preston with Blackburn winning 3-0 on that occasion.

Both sides are missing some key players for this due to injury, but I expect a competitive match and I’m going for both teams to score and for it to finish in a 1-1 draw. Blackburn’s Adam Armstrong could be worth a look in the anytime goal-scoring market as he has scored 18 goals in 29 appearances.

Bologna

7.45pm: Bologna v Benevento – Bologna to win 2-0 and Barrow to Score

Friday night’s Serie A action sees Bologna host Benevento at the Renato Dall’Ara. Both sides have an identical record in the league so far, winning six and losing 10 times from 21 games, accruing 23 points each.

Bologna have the chance to put some daylight between the two with a home win, having torn apart Parma in their last game with a thumping 3-0 win. Meanwhile, Benevento are without a win in five games, during which they’ve also lost heavily to Atalanta, Crotone and Inter Milan along the way.

In just three previous meetings between these sides, Bologna have won twice with Benevento managing to win 1-0 last time out at home. Musa Barrow, who is on loan from Atlanta, could be one to keep an eye on in the goal-scoring market.

He scored twice against Parma last time out so he comes into the game bang in form. I expect Bologna to win 2-0 and Barrow to Score Anytime.

Friday’s Daily Double

7.45pm: Blackburn v Preston – 1-1 Draw, Adam Armstrong To Score Anytime
7.45pm: Bologna v Benevento – Bologna to win 2-0, Musa Barrow to Score Anytime
