Football tips: Our 3 best bets with Chelsea revival set to continue at Sheffield United

PPTV broadcaster Carl Monaghan picks out 3 top tips for Sunday's late kick-off.

Thomas Tuchel has made a bright start at Chelsea with a couple of wins and a draw to date. He’s quickly shored them up at the back by playing three centre-backs in a throwback to Antonio Conte’s system when they last won the league back in 2017.

The auditions continue for the main roles in the Tuchel attack and we may see the likes of Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Olivier Giroud come in to stake their claim at Bramall Lane. N’Golo Kante could also make his first start in the engine room as the new coach explores his options all over the pitch.

Sheffield United are fighting for their lives and have enjoyed three wins in their last four, including an impressive win at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago when nobody gave them a chance. However, they are still rooted to the bottom of the and are currently 11 points from safety with 16 games to play.

Under 2.5 goals

The first market where there appears to be a bit of value in Under 2.5 Goals. This has clicked in all of Chelsea’s last five games in the Premier League and with the new manager potentially tinkering with the attacking element of his line-up it’s unlikely we will see a goal-fest. Under 2.5 Goals at odds-on looks attractive to me in the betting and may be one for your Bet Builder.

Christian Pulisic anytime goalscorer

I think there have been signs that Christian Pulisic may be about to hit some form again. I fancy him to come into the starting line-up here after his impressive cameo in the week during the 1-0 win at Spurs. There is a good relationship between the American and his new German coach from their Borussia Dortmund days when Tuchel gave Pulisic his first taste of first-team football in the Bundesliga. I fancy Pulisic To Score Anytime here at a decent price.

Chelsea to win to Nil

The Blues have been tight at the back in Tuchel’s short reign so far and have only conceded two shots on target with their new three-at-the-back formation. Thiago Silva was a big part of that successful combination but the Brazilian misses out here with a hamstring injury. Andreas Christensen is likely to replace him. I still think a Chelsea clean sheet is likely here and I’ll be looking at Chelsea To Win To Nil.
