We’ve found a value-busting Premier League treble from the best of the rest of Wednesday night’s matches. We’re looking at Burnley taking on Aston Villa where goals might be in short supply, Brighton v  Fulham where both need to claw themselves up from the bottom echelons of the table and finally Leicester’s trip to Everton, where the hosts can leap above rivals Liverpool into fourth with a win.

MORE TIPS FOR TONIGHT:

6pm: Burnley v Villa: Under 2.5 Goals

Even though 10 points separate the teams in the Premier League table, the home side are coming into this match in the better form. The punters are still siding with Aston Villa but Burnley have lost just one of their last five at home in the Premier League and have beaten both Liverpool and Fulham in their last two matches, keeping two clean sheets in the process.

Burnley v Aston Villa: BT Sport 2

Villa have won just one of their last five matches in all competitions and away from home in the league have won two of their last five. They’ve drawn one and lost two of their last three. Burnley’s home scoring record is terrible, they’re averaging just 0.63 goals per home match. Clarets fans are pretty lucky they can’t attend matches at present with those figures as they’d be asleep for most of the 90 minutes. Villa’s stats are a bit better at 1.56 goals per away Premier League match, but they’ve only scored more than one goal in one of their last six on the road. We’re expecting yet another dour and negative Burnley masterclass here and the value is in opposing goals. We’re going with Under 2.5 Goals.

7.30pm: Brighton v Fulham: Draw

Over their last five matches in all competitions, Brighton have won two, drawn two (winning one on penalties) and lost just one. Their home Premier League record makes for some dire reading though: they’ve still not won any home games so far this season with five draws and four losses.

Brighton v Fulham: BT Sport 3

Fulham are only slightly better on the road. They’ve won one, drawn three and lost four. Goalwise, both teams tend to usually get one per match and are averaging 1.11 and 1.0 goals in their home and away matches respectively. There’s nothing to suggest that either side is better than the other here and while the Both Teams to Score price is offering some value with those goals stats we can squeeze more out of the odds here and back a Draw.

8.15pm: Everton v Leicester: Leicester to Win

Both teams are coming into this one in excellent form. Everton have won four out of their last five in the Premier League while Leicester have lost just one of their last 12 fixtures in all competitions.

Everton v Leicester: BT Sport 2

At Goodison Park though things aren’t so rosy for the Toffees. They’ve won just two of their last six there and have failed to score in two of their last four. Leicester on their league travels have won three of their last five, drawing one and losing one and have scored two or more goals in six of their last 10. With Everton being a little goal-shy at home of late and Leicester in the better form we’re going with the away side here.

Wednesday’s Premier League treble

6pm: Burnley v Villa: Under 2.5 Goals
7.30pm: Brighton v Fulham: Draw

8.15pm: Everton v Leicester: Leicester to Win

  • All three of these pick in a Paddy Power treble will give you odds of 14/1
