15:00 Celtic v Dundee United: Celtic to Win & Both Teams To Score
Celtic will come into this match pretty confident of taking the three points on offer here. Dundee United have either lost or drawn all of their six most recent away Premiership matches and haven’t beaten The Bhoys at Celtic Park since 1993. Which is so long ago that Liam Brady was still in management.
The home side are massive favourites here, they’re unbeaten over their seven most recent home league matches – winning four and drawing three. But, Dundee United are pretty poor on the road, they’ve won just two away matches all season, while drawing four and losing three. We’re going to go against the market here.
Celtic’s clean sheet record isn’t great this season and Dundee United have scored seven over their last six league matches. Their away record isn’t the best, but they’ve found their scoring boots of late and, while Celtic should win here, The Tangerines are good enough to get at least one.
15:00 St Mirren v Rangers: Rangers to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
Rangers don’t have the best record at St Mirren Park. Over their six most recent visits. they’ve won just three, losing two and drawing one. On Wednesday they’re facing a St Mirren side who have won four out of their last five in all competitions – scoring nine goals in the process. The Gers have also won four out of their last five – netting 13 times.
St Mirren’s home league form isn’t as good though, they’ve won just one of their last five, drawing two and losing two – but, they did score five over that period. Steven Gerrard’s men have grabbed 12 goals over their five most recent away league matches and those stats indicate we’ll see some goals here.
Over 2.5 goals has occurred in three out of five of St Mirren’s most recent home and in four out of five of Rangers. The away side are in mighty form, and we can’t see them not winning here. That’s why we we’re backing them to take the three points with Over 2.5 goals.
18:15 Atletico Madrid v Getafe: Atletico to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0
Both Madrid sides will be desperate for the three points in their matches. Atletico currently lead La Liga on goal difference over Real. They face a Getafe side who have won just one of their six away league matches this term, drawing three and losing two – while scoring just four goals.
Atletico have the meanest defence in world football at the moment as they’ve conceded just five goals over their 13 La Liga matches to date, only two of which were at the Wanda Metropolitano. Over the last 10 years Getafe have not scored a single goal away to Atletico, and with the home side’s defence better than ever we can’t see that changing. Our pick here is Atletico to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0.
20:30 Elche v Real Madrid: Both Teams To Score
Elche’s home showings haven’t been great with just one win over their five most recent in the league, drawing three and losing one. However, they scored in four of those, and Both Teams To Score has landed in five out of their seven home La Liga matches this season.
Both Teams To Score has landed in five out of Real Madrid’s eight away La Liga matches. They’ve put their early season form behind them and are now marching back up the table. They’ve won all five of their most recent La Liga fixtures, and away from home have won three, drawn one and lost one. The value here is in Both Teams To Score with those stats.
