We’ve got a fully-packed five-fold Acca for Wednesday night so let’s get one more winner here before the Christmas shenanigans well and truly kick-off.

We’re off north to Scotland first where Celtic are at home to Ross County while St Johnstone take on league leaders Rangers. Then we’re heading to Spain where Real Madrid can take top spot in La Liga should they beat Granada. Finally then moving to Italy where AC Milan face Lazio and Roma are at home to Cagliari.

Let’s have a look then at some of the value we’ve found across Europe.

6.00pm: Celtic v Ross County – Celtic to Win to Nil

Celtic look to have put their blip behind them, winning two, drawing two (and winning the Scottish Cup on penalties) and losing one over their last five matches. Their 10 prior to those five saw just two wins for the Celts. Ross County though are in bad shape, they’ve lost all out their last four matches and failed to score a single goal in any of them.

Over their six most recent meetings at Celtic Park in all competitions, Ross County have only scored once – in a League Cup match last month – but failed in all five previous league meetings. They’re in awful shape and that bad run is going to continue here. Celtic to Win to Nil is the value bet here.

6.00pm: St Johnstone v Rangers – Rangers (-1)

St Johnstone have lost half of their Premiership matches this season, while Ranger still haven’t lost one. The home side have won two, drawn two and lost five of their nine matches. They’ve scored just four goals at McDiarmid Park this season and their record against Rangers at home has seen them lose five out of their last six matches against them.

(-1)

Rangers have only conceded four goals on their league travels this season and we’re tempted again by the Win to Nil here but the home side have scored in their last three home matches and scored in four of those six matches mentioned above. The away side are in good goal-scoring form of late so we’re going with Rangers (-1) here.

6.45pm: Real Madrid v Granada – Real to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Real Madrid face a stern test in Granada here. The away side are sixth in the league and are unbeaten over their five most recent matches in all competitions. However, on their league travels they’ve won just two of their six matches, drawing one and losing three while only scoring five goals in total.

Real have won four and lost two at home in the league this season, scoring 11 and losing five. Over 2.5 goals has landed in three out of four recent Real Madrid home La Liga matches and the home side have beaten Granada over all of their seven most previous encounters as the home side with Over 2.5 goals occurring in five of them. Real have netted eight over their three most recent La Liga matches and it looks like the team has found its stride. Real to Win and Over 2.5 Goals is our pick here.

7.45pm: AC Milan v Lazio – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

League leaders AC Milan have lost both of their most recent matches against Lazio at the San Siro. They’ll be confident here though, as they’re unbeaten over their last 25 Serie A matches as well as their 12 most recent home league matches.

Lazio though are finally finding form and have won three and drawn one of their last four on their league travels. Both are scoring goals for fun of late too. Milan have 12 over their five most recent home league matches while Lazio have scored nine over their four most recent on the road. With both in good form and scoring goals the obvious bet here is BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals.

7.45pm: Roma v Cagliari – Roma to Win the First Half

Roma’s home league form is formidable. They’re unbeaten over their 10 most recent Serie A matches and scored at least two goals in nine of those matches. Cagliari have now gone five Serie A matches without victory, drawing four and losing one while their away form has seen them win just one of their last five, drawing two and losing two.

There’s no value in the price for Roma to Win here and while Roma to Score Over 2.5 goals is tempting, Cagliari – for all their woes – don’t concede too many on the road and only one of their five most recent matches at the Stadio Olimpico saw Over 2.5 goals occurring. The value here is in the Halftime market. Roma have been winning at HT in eight of their 13 Serie A matches and in five out of their six home matches. We’re going with that trend to continue.
