There's plenty to play for in Wednesday's early kick-offs.

The four clubs we’re going to focus on here are Leeds, Newcastle, Leicester and Everton. Or as I like to call them – the ones who think they’re better than they are, the ones who don’t care how bad they are once they’re having a right old time of it, the ones who have won the league and will forever suffer because of that – and Everton.

Honestly, they’ve given me 500 words and I could have just written that paragraph and we’d all be satisfied. But what’s slightly more satisfying is a few quid on a Tuesday evening. Make mine a double.

Leeds to Win

It’s hard to envisage this matchup in 2020 and to avoid all the cliches that would have made this clash a spectacle in 2000. Back then, it was two brute forces coming head to head, trying to hammer the other our of top-four contention.

Now, it’s a team that try too hard coming up against a unit that really pick and choose their battles. Will it be frustrating? Probably, but in the end it should play into the hands of Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds to play around Newcastle quite easily.

Newcastle’s successes – and their recent ones in fact – have come against sides who don’t want the ball. That way, they generally don’t concede because they don’t commit too many men forward and can defend as a ten when they need to. Leeds won’t give them that luxury and I can’t escape the idea of them scoring early and Newcastle hanging up their boots by half-time.

Over 4.5 Goals

There will not be a defender in sight for this, and while the line might seem somewhat ambitious, if Leicester win this game they’ll do so two or three anyway as Everton will have imploded. If Everton win, which I’m slightly leaning towards, they’ll have to score at least three times to keep pace with Jamie Vardy and the ever-improving James Maddison from recent weeks.

Now, if it’s a nil-all draw, you can’t arrive onto my apartment and look for apologies, but you know this one makes sense when you look at it. Given I couldn’t decide who I felt would win, and only that whoever did would end up with at least three goals, it seemed both the obvious, and the value play.

Wednesday’s 6pm double:

Leeds v Newcastle: Leeds to win
Leicester v Everton: Over 4.5 Goals in Leicester v Everton
