For Tuesday night’s European football we’re taking a look at Germany’s Bundesliga where Eintracht Frankfurt take on Borussia Monchengladbach. Both teams are scoring plenty of late, but not getting wins chalked up.

We’ll also be looking at Werder Bremen at home to managerless Borussia Dortmund, who fired Lucien Favre after their disastrous 1-5 loss to Stuttgart over the weekend. Finally, we’re off to Spain’s La Liga where Real Madrid, fresh from their victory in the Madrid derby, face an Athletic Bilbao side enjoying a bad run of late. Let’s have a look for some value in the betting markets.

17:30 Eintracht Frankfurt v Borussia Monchengladbach: ‘Gladbach to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Frankfurt are on a bit of a bad run at the moment, drawing four and losing one of their last five. At home things are slightly – just slightly – better with four draws and a win. ‘Gladbach have won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five league matches, while away from home they have won two, drawn one and lost two.

The good news is that both teams are scoring a decent amount. Frankfurt have scored in all but one of their last 15 home games in the league. ‘Gladbach, for their part, have netted at least two in five out of their six most recent away matches. Eintracht have proven very tough to beat at Deutsche Bank Park of late and have clawed back to level in three out of their five most recent league matches there. But, ‘Gladbach have the extra firepower to go at least one better and take the three points.

19:30 Werder Bremen v Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

All of the attention will be on Dortmund here after the sacking of their manager over the weekend. The rumour mill is full of stories that ‘Gladbach manager Marco Rose will take over during the summer, but it’s early days yet. Regardless, Dortmund’s form hasn’t been good of late with just one win, two draws and two losses in their Bundesliga matches. Away from home though things look much better though,  with three wins, one draw and one loss.

Werder Bremen are nothing short of terrible, they’ve drawn one and been defeated four of their last five league ties, while their home form has seen them winning one, drawing two and losing two of their last five. Dortmund’s relationship with Lucien Favre was never the best, he was seen as conservative and he didn’t trust the players, always erring on the side of caution. A younger Roy Hodgson we could say.

With the shackles off we’re likely to see a Dortmund side gunning for goals and looking to get back up towards the top of the league. Seven out of their last eight visits to the Weserstadion have seen Both Teams To Score landing and we should see a few goals here again.

21:00 Real Madrid v Athletic Bilbao: Real Madrid Over 1.5 Goals

2005 was the last time Bilboa beat Real Madrid on the road. Zinedine Zidane was in the team that day, along with Ronaldo and Michael Owen, and even though he’s been under a bit of pressure of late, it looks like his Madrid side have turned a corner. They grabbed three back-to-back wins in all competitions.

Their home record at their training ground isn’t the best with three wins and two losses so far this season, but Bilbao have won just one away match all season, drawing two and losing four. Both Teams To Score was tempting us here, but Madrid have just kept Atletico Madrid and Seville scoreless.

They’re both a good deal better than Bilbao, so there’s no value in the price for us. Madrid have scored at least two goals against Athletic in 14 out of 16 previous home meetings, the odds aren’t huge here but we’re still getting a value.

European Football tips summary:

Eintracht Frankfurt v Borussia Monchengladbach: ‘Gladbach to Win and Over 2.5 Goals
Werder Bremen v Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund to Win and Over 2.5 Goals
Real Madrid v Athletic Bilbao: Real Madrid Over 1.5 Goals
