Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall woke up in a Las Vegas hotel suite to find Mike Tyson’s tiger in his bathroom and the Carabao Cup in his bed, Paddy Power News understands.
The 47-year-old was leading the celebrations after Newcastle’s historic 2-1 cup final victory over Liverpool when he became separated from the rest of the party.

Tindall’s whereabouts remained a mystery until he contacted Newcastle club officials this morning to tell them he was in a suite at Caesars Palace.
The panic-stricken former Bournemouth defender said he was unable to remember the previous night and woke to find a Bengal tiger in his bathroom.
Tindall also revealed the Carabao Cup trophy, which the club had reported to police as stolen, was in his hotel bed filled with Jägermeister.
A statement on the club’s official website read:
‘Newcastle United can confirm that assistant boss Jason Tindall contacted the club this morning to inform us that he had just woken up in a Las Vegas hotel room and was missing a tooth’.
‘During the call Mr Tindall also discovered a Bengal tiger in his bathroom and a tribal tattoo on the left side of his face.

‘It’s Mr Tindall’s opinion that his drink was spiked by a small hairy Greek fellow called Alan at some point during our post Carabao Cup victory celebrations.
‘Once Mr Tindall completes his taser target demonstration with the Las Vegas Police Department, we will arrange to fly him back to Tyneside’.
Discussing the incident, a source close to the Magpies coach said:
‘To be honest, Jason felt a bit snubbed after I was only 4th in line to lift the Carabao Cup trophy at Wembley’.

‘Everyone knows the assistant manager should always be the first one to lift the cup ahead of the captain, the manager, the man-of-the-match, everyone.
‘That’s why he’s gone off the rails a little and filled the trophy with Jägermeister.
‘And he’s asking the media to respect his right to extra publicity today as he come to terms with the events of the past few days’.
