It’s a year since we launched our smashing Super Sub offer which means that if you’re player selection gets hauled off your bet still rolls on.
And we’re sure plenty of you know the benefits by now as over 1.3 MILLION punters have had a bet survive thanks to our snazziest innovation yet.
But just in case you’re not convinced of what a game changer this is for punters, we thought it might be worth looking back at some of the biggest winning punts that clicked thanks to this, frankly, ludicrously generous addition…
5 – Maupay saves the day in 5,195/1 bookings fivefold
In May 2024, one lucky punter put together a fab five-leg acca that hinged on ex-Spurs and Man United, eh, star Sergio Reguilon getting his name in the referee’s little black book during one of his 16 undoubtedly stellar loan appearances for Brentford against Newcastle
The Spanish full-back did not oblige, however, but was thankfully hooked for everyone’s favourite Twitter troll/footballer, Neal Maupay, who did Neal Maupay things and naturally picked up a card.
Combined with bookings for Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, Villa’s Lucas Digne, Emerson for West Ham and Jack Robinson for Sheffield United, this Super Sub-powered pick returned a whopping 5,195/1 winner – and that won’t be the last bit of Maupay magic we see…
4 – A 5,285/1 eight-legged freak winner
Our second massive Super Sub-aided winner came a week earlier, thanks to an increasingly rare species – the lesser-spotted Rasmus Hojlund goal.
The Danish forward replaced a goal-or-assist-less Bruno Fernandes on the hour mark in the Red Devils’ away trip to Brighton on May 19th with the scoreline stuck at nil-nil. Fortunately, the United captain’s replacement came through with an 88th minute strike that was crucial when placed among seven other winning bets in netting a stunning four-figure odds win for one backer.

3 – Duran the man in 5,879/1 punt
He might’ve decided to chuck his career down the lav by heading off to Saudi Pro League, but one punter won’t begrudge Jhon Duran the Scrooge McDuck-levels of wealth he’s set to pocket after his appearance off the bench made the difference between a whopping 18-leg Multi-Match Bet Builder winning and losing earlier this season.
Added to a string of nine winning bets on Atalanta v Real Madrid, a Duran shot on target after replacing Ollie Watkins at half-time in Villa’s 3-2 win over RB Leipzig in December sent one punter over the moon as it combined with eight more winning bets on that fixture and delivered a healthy payout at odds of 5,879/1.
2 – Cards fly as 6,137/1 bet lands
But sometimes you just have to keep it simple. Forget this ‘woke’ shots on target nonsense – give me six bets on three games, all on players to be carded. Simple.
That’s what one lucky so-and-so did when they benefitted from Olivers Norwood and Arblaster being swapped in Sheffield United’s 2-2 draw away at Bournemouth on March 9th last year.

Though the change only took place in the 80th minute, there was more than enough time left for former Man United youth teamer Norwood to get stuck into the Cherries’ fancy football and pick up a yellow card.
That booking, added to cards for Premier League stalwarts Chris Mepham, Daniel Munoz, Reece Burke, Santiago Bueno and Sasa Lukic, meant one very shrewd bettor landed our second-biggest Super Sub win so far…
1 – This 6,417/1 winner shows you cannot keep a good sh*thouse down
But wait, there’s more, because on the same day as our fifth biggest Super Sub winner – the 5,195/1 punt brought home by Neal Maupay’s sh*thousery – the same Super Sub swap saw an even bigger win for another Paddy punter.
What are the chances?
About 6417/1, now that you ask.
Yes, that same Sergio Reguilon booking bet from Brentford’s 4-2 home defeat to Newcastle on May 19th, 2024, was also in an eight-leg 6,417/1 bet that would’ve lost if not for Maupay’s antics.
Michael Olise, Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Harvey Barnes all scored or assisted to bring in four legs, while Marcos Senesi, Emerson and John McGinn all got booked, meaning the French forward’s card when replacing Reguilon landed another huge win for another punter!
Even an Everton supporter would love Neal Maupay after that.
