Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has explained the REAL reason behind the cut on his nose after his side blew a 3-0 lead to draw with Feyenoord in the Champions League.
The Man City boss was questioned in his post-match press conference about a cut on his nose and initially said it was caused by his own fingernail.
However, the Spaniard has since admitted the wound was inflicted by former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Discussing the incident with Paddy Power News, Pep told us:
‘Fergie kicked a boot at me’.
‘We’re still unsure how he ended up in our changing room after the game, but he was smacking on his chewing gum and ranting about blowing a 3-0 lead at home.

‘When I asked him if there was a family member we could phone to come and pick him up, he began foaming at the mouth and kicked a football boot which struck me right between the eyes.
‘I went for him, but the players jumped in middle and got between us. Then he told me he was selling me to Real Madrid in the summer. But I say, “Mr Ferguson, I never go there” and security dragged him away’.
When asked about the multiple scratches on his head, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach said:
‘I wanted to show the world what Mr Ferguson did to me, so I put Haaland’s Alice Band on my head.
‘But Erling reminded me I was bald with zero hair to scrape back and yanked it off my head which left these scratches.
In related news, UEFA has launched an investigation after #PepOut started trending on the social media platform X.
‘We cannot believe that #PepOut is trending’, said a spokesperson on behalf of UEFA.
‘For a start, we didn’t think Man City had enough fans to start a trend’.
