Ligue 1 outfit Marseille are reportedly in advanced talks with Paul Pogba about a possible disastrous and expensive spell at the club.
Pogba’s entourage held discussions with Juventus about ending his time in Turin which saw him make 12 appearances and 4,071 Instagram Reels during a two-year stint.
The 31-year-old will be permitted to start training again in January after his four-year drugs ban was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Should Pogba leave Juventus, Marseille appears the most likely place where he’ll spend the next two seasons injured and suspended.
‘On the advice of my 50-strong entourage of hangers-on, I’m leaving Juventus to seek one final bumper contract elsewhere’, Pogba told Paddy Power News.
‘Marseille would be the perfect fit for me. They have fellow sh*thouses like Neal Maupay and Adrien Rabiot, can afford my astronomical wages, and there is a hospital less than 1000 metres away from their stadium’.
Pogba said his tearful goodbyes to Juventus’ medical staff this morning after club CEO Maurizio Scanavino agreed to terminate his contract which was due to run until June 2026.

The solution is already clear, just terms to be agreed… but Pogba will leave Juventus and become a free agent. 👋🏻 pic.twitter.com/VOh0gPL2X2

The former Manchester United midfielder became a huge presence in the heart of Juve’s treatment room who will be sorely missed by the doctors and physios as he prepares to leave the Serie A outfit.
‘Paul was like a part of the furniture’, wept Juventus’ head physio Sauro Leggio.
‘We nicknamed him ‘Next, please’ because he was always waiting to be seen by a doctor,’ he continued through his tears.
Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi is hopeful of landing Pogba after giving the French World Cup winner a personal guided tour of the club’s medical facilities.
‘The ball is in Paul’s court now. We’ve offered him two years on full sick pay with the option of a third’, the former Brighton boss told local reporters.
‘He hasn’t played a lot of football recently, but we still believe in Paul’s ability to consistently produce world-class haircuts’.
