We might only be one month into the new Premier League season, but even at this stage, Manchester City v Arsenal is a game that will have a huge influence on the title.
Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta have gone head-to-head over the past few seasons with City always getting the better of The Gunners in terms of silverware.
Arsenal are hoping to end their title drought this time, but they already sit two points behind the defending champions after four games, so a win this weekend is vital.
The Citizens will be hard to beat having looked unstoppable so far with convincing wins over Chelsea, Ipswich, West Ham and Brentford.
Sunday’s game does represent a different challenge, but many neutrals will fancy Guardiola’s men and their superstar striker Erling Haaland to overcome Arsenal.

Man City v Arsenal team news
Guardiola remained coy in his pre-match press conference on the fitness of captain Kevin de Bruyne after he picked up a knock in their goalless draw against Inter Milan in the Champions League, saying: “He feels today a little bit better, but not [ready] yet. Two days off, tomorrow training and we will see.”
It will be a huge blow for City if he isn’t involved but the City boss did offer fans a boost by confirming that Phil Foden is ready to play a full 90 minutes.
As for Arsenal, they’ve had one less day to prepare after their Champions League clash fell on a Thursday. Whatever team they field it won’t include Martin Odegaard with the Gunners captain sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered whilst on international duty.
Kai Havertz is likely to come in and operate in midfield as he did in the clash with Atalanta.
