Ilkay Gundogan is on the verge of a sensational return to Manchester City following a one-year break from winning trophies.
The 33-year-old took a 12-month sabbatical from success when he left City for Barcelona in 2023 on a free transfer.
Feeling fully refreshed after his trophyless spell with the Catalan giants, Gundogan is ready to challenge for major honours once again.
