Premier League winners: Full list of EPL champions over the years

Will there be a brand new winner?

Premier League trophy

The Premier League has become the biggest football competition on the planet and dramatic title races are a major part of its global appeal.

Since the formation of the rebranded top-flight in 1992, there have been just seven different winners, with 21 of the 32 titles handed out to a club from Manchester.

Manchester United dominated the first twenty years of the league, winning 13 titles under the legendary reign of Sir Alex Ferguson. They are without one since 2013, though, with their noisy neighbours City now the team to beat.

Pep Guardiola’s side became the first club to win four in a row in the 2023/24 season and are the favourites to claim a fifth. However, they are battling a controversial case with the Premier League having been charged with 115 breaches of its financial rules.

This could affect their chances of winning, and Arsenal will be on hand as City’s closes challengers if it does, with the Gunners looking to win their first title since 2004.
