Manchester United’s charge towards the start of the Premier League season continues as they head to Scotland to take on Rangers.
The Red Devils kicked off their pre-season campaign in Norway against Rosenborg last week where a side largely comprised of youth players suffered a 1-0 defeat.
It’s not the start manager Erik ten Hag would have hoped for. Still, there have been several positives recently with the club officially announcing the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro to kickstart the INEOS era at Old Trafford.
Several of United’s stars still remain on holiday having featured in the latter stages of Euro 2024, but Saturday’s game could see the return of Andre Onana, Amad Diallo, Antony, Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire.
It will give greater insight into the mood around the first team, but we won’t really know how well United can do until their new additions feature.
