The Euro 2024 group stages are almost over and England take on Slovenia in their final game in Group C.
The Three Lions are one of the favourites to win the tournament in Germany and got off to a winning start over Serbia in their opening game before a disappointing 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Gareth Southgate is under pressure to lead England to major silverware after losing the final on penalties three years ago and the critics are circling after the failure to beat the Danes.
England’s final group game will take place at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on Tuesday, June 25 as they bid to book their place in the Round of 16.

Despite taking part in training on Monday, Luke Shaw is unlikely to feature, while Kieran Trippier is managing a calf problem. Conor Gallagher could replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in the starting XI.
Slovenia are in a good position to qualify alongside England and are likely to stick with a similar line up to their last game, with no injuries either.

Thommo: England will win this game. I have no doubts about that.
But performance-wise I wouldn’t expect a marauding England – Slovenia are going to sit back and make it very difficult. That’s why it’s hard. It’s a huge game for them.
They need to play better and I’m expecting changes in the line-up.
They need that victory, and I can’t see Slovenia getting anything.
They have two points, and realistically if they want to go through they need to win this, but you can bank on it they will just counter-attack.
