Euro 2024 has finally reached the business stage with England set to play Spain in the final on Sunday.
Spain have been the most impressive so far, picking up maximum points in a group that included defending champions Italy and Croatia, and knocking out hosts Germany in the quarters and France in the semis.
England have been largely unimpressive, with Harry Kane not hitting top form but still bagging three goals on route to the big one in Berlin.
The race for the golden boot now looks a straight shootout between Kane and Spain’s Dani Olmo who both have three goals apiece.

Harry Kane
Harry Kane has been breaking records for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season and is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world.
He is England’s greatest threat in front of goal but has been criticised for an underwhelming Euros so far. However, he scored the opener in the Three Lions’ draw with Denmark and in the last 16 against Slovakia.
He also put away a penalty to draw England level with the Netherlands in the semis to make it three for the tournament but trails Olmo by virtue of having fewer assists.

Dani Olmo
Spain’s bright star in front of goal has been Dani Olmo who has three goals so far. He’s often been used as a super sub for Luis de la Fuente but is set to start in the final with Pedri out injured.
Olmo’s confidence will be sky-high and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Spain go all the way he could clinch the award.
