Liverpool have announced the club’s TV documentary series capturing the final months of Jürgen Klopp’s reign as manager will be going straight to DVD.
The multi-episode series was originally going to be aired on Amazon Prime, but the streaming service pulled out of the deal following Liverpool’s end of season implosion.
Instead, the behind-the-scenes documentary will go direct-to-video with a lack of public interest and producers keen to recoup their costs.
A statement on Liverpool’s official website read:
‘Following the collapse of last-minute talks with broadcasting giants Channel 5, the club has taken the decision to release its upcoming documentary ‘Carabao Klopp: Jürgen’s Farewell Tour’ direct-to-video’.
‘Fans can get their hands on a copy of the DVD at their local B&M bargains store from next month.’
‘They’ll be in the two quid and under basket along with recently expired Lynx Africa gift sets and Peter Andre’s Greatest Hits album.
‘DVD highlights include our defeats against Everton and Atalanta as well as our extra-time FA Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Manchester United’.

‘Bonus features include extended highlights of Liverpool’s famous 2-2 Anfield comeback against West Brom. Klopp picking his top 5 all-time excuses after losing a game and a moving Klopp tribute from Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder’.
Meanwhile, the fire brigade was called out to Anfield earlier today after reports of a blaze caused by a fire breathing Egyptian.
A 999 call was made after a fire broke out when a 31-year-old man was asked to speak by a journalist.
Emergency crews raced to the scene where they were able to contain the blaze before it spread to the media.
One firefighter known as Sam told Paddy Power News:
‘It was a highly flammable situation but fortunately we were able to pour some cold water on it before it all went up in smoke like Liverpool’s season’.
