Ahead of a huge North London derby this weekend against Tottenham, former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has issued a rallying call to his old team to push on for the Premier League title in his column for Paddy Power News.
Sagna wants the Arsenal fans behind the team, as they look to keep pace with Manchester City in the run in, with the title battle potentially going right down to the final game of the season on May 19.

Arsenal fans need to keep the faith against Tottenham
BS: Arsenal can still win the Premier League. The team was on an amazing run, but one loss against Villa and everything falls down?
The fans, whatever happens, should always support the players – especially when there is only a two-point difference. One draw from Man City, and Arsenal are back on track, competing again.
Instead of criticising the players, the fans need to be behind them no matter what happens.
I don’t understand the criticism – of course fans expected Arsenal to win against Villa – but now is not time to criticise, it’s time to push them and show your support.
Derby glory is a must in title push
Arsenal have to beat Tottenham. It’s a derby, and the intensity and quality is in Arsenal’s favour.
Spurs have good players, but the way Arsenal approach this game every time is right, even with the pressure, they manage to perform.
I’m looking forward to seeing Arsenal beat Spurs – not only because of momentum for the league – but because it matters to the fans and players.
Trust in Arteta over Martinelli vs Trossard selection call
Gabriel Martinelli started the two matches against Bayern Munich but Mikel Arteta has preferred Leandro Trossard in the Premier League recently.
Arteta is the one spending all week with the players, and it’s his choice to pick the team, that’s why Trossard isn’t starting as much in certain games.
Martinelli makes defenders tired, making them constantly run back towards their own goal.
He has lots of quality and is very useful to the team and the way he runs in behind is a nightmare for a right back.
Trossard is the one scoring goals, but it’s a combined effort between them, both can have a really good impact on the team.
