Jurgen Klopp Next Job Odds: Who could come calling for the Liverpool legend?

What's next for the departing Liverpool boss?

Surely even rival fans admit the Premier League is better with him?

If you’re stuck for small talk, then there’s one way to start a debate! It’s all well and good discussing that and the next Liverpool manager odds, but what about the great man himself?

Sure, he’s indicated that another managerial job is unlikely, but football’s a funny old business and a spell away from the tactics board could leave him wanting a return.

Luckily, Paddy’s trusty traders have whipped a betting market on Jurgen Klopp’s Next Managerial Job into shape to give you some talking points down the pub and you can check out the latest odds on paddypower.com.

Here’s a quick guide to Klopp’s potential options once he leaves Liverpool at the end of the season.

Germany National Team

It is no secret that German football bigwigs have been eager to lure Klopp to manage their national team for quite some time. There is likely to be a vacancy after the Euros as Julian Nagelsmann is effectively keeping the seat warm after Hansi Flick’s axing. The less-demanding nature of international football could also allow Klopp to recharge his batteries.

The Catalan giants are eight points off the top of La Liga and Xavi is leaving at the end of the season. Klopp has insisted he will be taking a break but could the lure of Barcelona tempt him?

Bayern Munich

It seems like a right of passage for any great German manager to take charge of Bayern Munich. However, given he was the last person to deny them a Bundesliga trophy it probably wouldn’t go down too well.

Klopp has confirmed he won’t manage in England again out of respect for Liverpool, and surely that’s the same for Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund

Sequels are rarely as good as the originals but a return to Borussia Dortmund would have a certain romantic nature. Klopp turned BVB into one of the best sides in Europe during a glittering spell at the club and they could come knocking in a bid to challenge at the top table once again.

Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti’s doing a grand job at the Bernabeu but Florentino Pérez is hardly renowned for his patience so a trophyless campaign could prompt a change in the dugout. Klopp would certainly bring the X-factor required.
