FA Cup Trophy

Wembley is one step closer for the 32 teams that successfully navigate their way through the FA Cup third round.

Manchester City are the defending champions after getting the better of bitter rivals Manchester United in last season’s final as they completed the second leg of their historic treble.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be involved in the draw for the FA Cup fourth round ater easing past Championship strugglers Huddersfield Town in round three.

One of the Premier League title contenders are already out, however, as Liverpool got the better of misfiring Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

At least 16 teams outside of the top flight are guaranteed a place in round four, which throws up the potential for some more giant killings along the way to Wembley.
