The big boys are in!

FA Cup Trophy

The FA Cup steps up a gear as the Premier League and EFL Championship clubs join the fun in the third round.

Just 20 teams from lower down the English football pyramid have reached this stage of the competition and they will be dreaming of a glamour tie against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United.

Manchester City are the defending champions after getting the better of their local rivals in last season’s final at Wembley as they ticked off the second leg of their historic treble.

Pep Guardiola’s side will have to buck recent trends if they are to become back-to-back winners, however, as it is eight years and counting since Arsenal retained the trophy.

There’s a long way to go before fans can start dreaming of Wembley and the draw for the third round of the FA Cup is one of the biggest dates on the English football calendar.

FA Cup odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise everything you need to know about the draw for round three is below.
