Roman Reigns helps Carvajal with spear technique ahead of City clash

I'm sure he'll smash a conveniently placed garbage over someone during the second leg

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has been perfecting his spear technique with the help of WWE superstar Roman Reigns ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League semi-final 2nd leg against Manchester City.

During a bruising first encounter at the Bernabeu, the 31-year-old sent Jack Grealish flying into the advertising hoardings when the ball was drifting harmlessly out of play.

However, having failed to inflict a serious injury on the City winger, Carvajal has called on spearing specialist Roman Reigns to help him perfect his shoulder block takedowns.

‘You wanna drive your shoulder right into Jack’s midsection here’, Reigns can be heard saying in a video posted to the Spaniard’s Instagram account.

‘This is what’s known as a high-impact spear’, explains the 37-year-old wrestler before charging shoulder-first into a Jack Grealish mannequin.

‘If you execute it right, this could be Jack’, he said while pointing at the broken-in-half dummy lying on the floor.

Discussing the training with Paddy Power News, Reigns told us:

‘I’ve seen some great proponents of the spear down the years. Goldberg. Edge. Rhyno. But Carvajal is right up there with the best of them’.

‘If he ever gets tired of sh*thousing in the Champions League, I think Vince McMahon would be very keen to speak to him’.

In related news, Sergio Ramos has unveiled a new Dani Carvajal tattoo following the full-backs antics during Madrid’s 1-1 draw with City at the Bernabeu.

The PSG defender shared an image of the fresh ink with his 60 million Instagram followers along with the caption: ‘From one sh*thouse to another’.

Upon hearing about the tattoo, Carvajal said:

‘It’s an honour to have my image permanently inked onto the body of undoubtedly one the greatest b*stards to ever play the game’.

‘If I ever get the opportunity, I would like to dislocate Mo Salah’s shoulder to show my appreciation to Sergio’.
