Reiss Nelson’s last-gasp strike sealed a thrilling 3-2 win for Arsenal against Bournemouth as the Gunners came from behind to restore their five-point lead over Manchester City at the summit.

The reigning champions had cut the lead by beating Newcastle 2-0 in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday thanks to goals either side of the break from Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva.

Despite having a game in hand on the top two, it seems safe to rule Manchester United out of the title race after their humiliating 7-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

Selhurst Park and Craven Cottage are the next stops in the title race with City at Crystal Palace on Saturday evening before Arsenal make the short trip to Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
