Reigning champions Liverpool will have to come through a tricky third-round tie against Wolves if they’re to be involved, although a distraction from their Premier League troubles might be just the tonic for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
At least 17 teams from outside the top flight are guaranteed to be in the hat for the FA Cup fourth-round draw, but it has been 43 years since a team from the second division or lower lifted the trophy.

The draw takes place on the afternoon of Sunday, January 8, before the big glamour fixture between Manchester City and Chelsea.
