Lionel Messi is widely seen as one of the greatest players in football history, but the Argentina superstar is missing a World Cup title on his CV.

The 35-year-old came within a whisker of lifting the World Cup in 2014 but the Albiceleste were beaten by Germany in the final in extra time, and Qatar 2022 looks like being his last dance in the competition.

He has taken the first ever winter World Cup by storm with a string of match-winning displays and seems to be a man on a mission to emulate Argentina legend Diego Maradona by leading his country to glory.

The latest World Cup odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise details of Argentina’s next match at Qatar 2022 can be found below.

The Albiceleste will play reigning champions France, who knocked out surprise package Morocco in the semi-finals.

The match will take place at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday, December 18.
