The Battle of Britain! A match that could prove pivotal for both teams in their respective bids to reach the last 16. Gareth Bale and co. progressed through UEFA’s play-off round to reach Qatar and the last meeting between the two teams in a major tournament – at the 2016 Euros – was a thriller as England won thanks to a last-minute Daniel Sturridge strike.

The Three Lions face the Lions of Teranga in the World Cup last 16 after finishing top of Group B. Senegal progressed to the knockout rounds after beating Ecuador in a shootout for second spot behind the Netherlands. The Africa Cup of Nations winners are without Sadio Mane but still boast plenty of quality across the park.

A date with destiny as the Three Lions tackle the reigning world champions, who boast the red-hot Kylian Mbappe in their ranks. France cruised past Poland in the last 16 thanks to a brace from Mbappe and Olivier Giroud’s national-record breaking goal.
