You probably forgot about the Carabao Cup but it’s back with a bang this week as the Premier League big boys enter the competition.
The 32 teams left standing are bidding to seal a place in the fourth round as fans begin to dream of a mid-season trip to Wembley to land the season’s first major trophy.

The next stage of the competition will be lacking at least one big name as Manchester City face Chelsea in round three, while Liverpool will be hoping their poor league form doesn’t affect their title defence.

Carabao Cup 4th round draw date and start time
The big dogs at the EFL have announced the Carabao Cup fourth-round draw will take place following the conclusion of Manchester United v Aston Villa on Thursday, November 10.
The third-round tie at Old Trafford gets underway at 8pm so the balls are set to be plucked from the hat at around 10pm.
Mark Chapman will host the draw alongside former Manchester United and Aston Villa aces Peter Schmeichel and Dion Dublin.
The Carabao Cup fourth-round fixtures will be scheduled for the week commencing Monday, December 19.

Manchester City are bidding to land a record-equalling ninth Carabao Cup and are the favourites to win this year’s tournament after knocking out Premier League rivals Chelsea in round three.
Liverpool are the reigning champions but Jurgen Klopp’s team are enduring a challenging campaign, however, and needed penalties to get the better of League One Derby County in the third round.
