A cracking Championship campaign comes to a conclusion on Sunday when Huddersfield face Nottingham Forest in the play-off final at Wembley.
The winner will earn the last remaining place in next season’s Premier League which means riches galore, while the losing team will have to regroup and go again in the second tier.

Whoever misses out at Wembley will be joined in the Championship by Burnley, Watford and Norwich who were relegated from the Premier League and promoted League One trio Wigan, Rotherham and Sunderland.
There’ll be a fair bit of disruption for all 24 teams next season as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar brings a halt to proceedings midway through the campaign.

It’s then a five-month dash to the finish line with the last weekend of the regular season scheduled for Saturday, May 6. The 2022/23 Championship play-off final will be held at Wembley Stadium on Monday, May 29.
