Two rogue food delivery men were captured by paparazzi carrying boxes of lasagne for dispatch to The Canaries’ home ground ahead of Tottenham’s make-or-break match. And, yes, they were sent by Paddy!

As Spurs and Arsenal compete for the final Champions League spot this weekend, fans were reminded of the infamous incident that took place during the 2005/06 season.
It saw Michael Carrick and Robbie Keane amongst Tottenham’s star players to be struck down by a sudden bout of tummy troubles, in the wake of a dodgy pre-match meal on the eve of an uncanny occasion 16 years ago.
Meanwhile, rumours had begun circulating this week of a possible repeat of what has since gone down in the annals of football folklore as “lasagne-gate”.
Reports of Harry Kane’s possible demise on Friday has only poured fuel on the fire that history is set to repeat itself, in the most Spursy fashion.
The images show two alleged Arsenal supporters infiltrating a north London food delivery company, presumably to give Spurs a familiar send off and the ultimate unwanted pre-match meal.
The van carrying their Italian dodgy lasagne was emblazoned with branding of “Highbury & Co, established 2006”, and wording on its flank boasting ‘reviews’, including one from a Mr W. Enger who claimed that their lasagne is among the “top four in England”, while the meal goes from plate to bowl in 90 minutes.
Despite their best efforts to hide their allegiances, eagle-eyed social media followers spotted the unmistakable trim of their Arsenal jerseys as the two men infiltrated the stadium, with the apparent objective of making Norwich’s visitors ‘Pukki’.
Arsenal’s defeat earlier this week left the door wide open for Spurs to steal the last remaining Champions League spot. And, with a trip to rock-bottom Norwich being the smallest final day hurdle known to man, their qualification looks nailed on.
Norwich have been so bad this season though, even a poisoned Spurs squad should still be alright – leaving Antonio Conte’s men free to compete for yet another trophy they won’t actually win.
