The race to the Premier League is set to reach a thrilling conclusion as we enter the final weeks of a marathon Championship campaign.
We’ve taken a look at the permutations ahead of a bumper weekend of Easter action in the second tier.

Fulham can guarantee their ascension to the top flight if they win at Derby on Good Friday and beat Preston at Craven Cottage on Tuesday, April 26. Marco Silva’s free-scoring team could get the job done as soon as Friday if Nottingham Forest lose to Luton at lunchtime and they claim all three points later in the day.
Derby v Fulham – Friday, April 15 (8pm)
Fulham v Preston – Tuesday, April 19 (7.45pm)
The Whites could also wrap up the Championship title if they win their next two games and Bournemouth, who sit second in the table, lose to Middlesbrough and Coventry on Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively.
Bournemouth cannot guarantee automatic promotion over the coming days as Nottingham Forest are only six points behind with both teams still having to play seven matches each.
Derby and Peterborough could be relegated by close of play on Easter Monday.
Derby v Fulham – Friday, April 15 (8pm)
QPR v Derby – Monday, April 18 (3pm)
Peterborough v Blackburn – Friday, April 15 (3pm)
Barnsley v Peterborough – Monday, April 18 (3pm)
The two teams are nine points behind 21st-placed Reading with five fixtures left to play and will drop into League One if the Royals better both of their results over the next two games by one point.
Barnsley could also drop into League One as they are eight points off safety but do have a game in hand. It’s unlikely the Tykes will be nailed to the cross over the Easter period, however, as Reading would need to win their next two games to make that scenario possible.
